Connell Bros. Co. Vietnam was originally founded in 1960, but temporarily ceased operations in 1975 after the imposition of the U.S. trade embargo. When the embargo was lifted in 1993, Connell Bros. was one of the first U.S.-based distribution companies to return to the country, opening an officially licensed representative office in Ho Chi Minh City and then Ha Noi.
