CBC-China traces its roots in China back over 100 years. Our first subsidiary, Connell Bros. Co. (HK) Ltd., was established in Hong Kong in 1898 to supply fresh fruits and grains to the city's growing population. Building on this knowledge base, today this office handles overall administration and accounting for CBC-China and is a platform for sales, marketing and distribution of imported and locally manufactured products throughout Hong Kong and China. CBC-China has over 115 employees in seven wholly owned offices and six warehouses in greater China and Hong Kong.

After it’s closure in 1949, Connell Brothers, Co. re established it’s China operations in 1987. Growing alongwith the Chinese economy, Connell Bros. (Shanghai) Co. Ltd now integrates all of CBC’s China operations. This entity was established in 2006. It acts as a sales agent and distributor and offers reliable sourcing options for customers outside China wishing to import from the country.
