Logistics is the backbone of our business. While sourcing and sales drive
the business, our logistics strength gives us the muscle to succeed.
Our strength comes from our contracts on ocean freight. We work closely
with our steamship partners to coordinate agreements that benefit both sides.
We match our outbound and inbound freight with the shipping lanes that give
the greatest value to the carrier, while providing the best economic value
to CBC.
Once the container arrives in North America, we then find the most efficient,
affordable method to deliver product to our customers. If storage is
needed, we have 12 strategically located warehouses we use to stage, store
or cross-dock product.
On the customer service side of our business, our staff
tracks the shipments, clears customs, coordinates delivery and follows
up with our customers to make sure all went as expected. We pledge to resolve
most issues within 48 hours to our customer’s satisfaction. Although we have taken steps to minimize
the likelihood of a problem delivery, if one does occur, it’s important
that you work with a company that stands behind their business.
